Position Summary:
The Sr. Treasury Analyst isresponsible for ensuring effective management of cash, liquidity and debt while optimizing treasury operations and maintaining strong banking relationships. The position requires accounting and analytical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
Cash Management & Liquidity Planning Monitor daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Optimize cash positioning through forecasting, investment strategies, and borrowing recommendations. Execute wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other banking activitiesin compliance with Orlando Health policies. Support cash concentration and accountstructure strategiesto improve efficiency. Banking & Treasury Operations Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutionsto optimize fees and services. Assist in implementing and maintaining treasury technology, including cash management and banking platforms. Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance related to treasury functions. Support payment and automation and fraud prevention initiatives. Debt Management Support compliance with bond covenants, debt service schedules, and reporting requirements. Analyze and report on interest rates, debtstructures, and refinancing opportunities, as needed. Financial Analysis & Reporting Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership. Analyze bank fees, cash flow trends, and investment performance. Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and risk management. Prepare journal entries and reconciliationsrelated to banking, debt and investments. Process Improvement & Compliance Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes, automation, and reporting. Ensure compliance with Orlando Health policies, GAAP, IRS regulations, and healthcare industry requirements. Support internal and external auditsrelated to treasury functions.
Other Related Functions Maintains up-to-date knowledge of market trends and financial instruments. Maintain a baseline knowledge of finance and accounting principles. Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal,state,and local standards. Use of analytical skills and problem-solving techniques to create, implement, and improve operations and systems. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Responsible for communicating complex financial models to a wide variety of audiences through various mediums. Ability to manage large projects and oversee leadership of cross-functional teams. Attend meetings as required. May be asked to chair or lead meetings. Completes all Orlando Health mandatory education as assigned. Partnership with leadership for professional development and continuing education as assigned or recommended.
Qualifications Education/Training:
Required:
Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required.
Preferred:
Master s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
Experience & Skill Set:
Required Skills 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking experience, preferably in a large healthcare or not-for-profit organization. Knowledgeable in cash management, banking, and financial instruments. Proficient with treasury management systems and financialsoftware. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Preferable Skills Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. High level organizationalskills and the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
