Job Description:

Payment Poster 8:00am-4:30 Monday through Friday – $12/hr, longterm few month assignment:

Summary of Duties:

Responsible for collecting and postingpayments.

Essential Functions:

1. Prints ERAs daily for any funds received via EFT, from eitherclearinghouse or carrier sites 2. Logs EFT payments on daily batch sheet 3. Receives incoming mail, separates and distributes to appropriatepersonnel 4. Totals payments received and balances with accounting 5. Logs mail payments received on daily balance sheet 6. Processes payments from insurance companies 7. Participates in educational activities and attends staffmeetings. 8. Conducts self in accordance with employee manual. 9. Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAAguidelines/regulations.
