Financial Analyst Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial excellence by analyzing business performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an on-site role that reports to the Business Controller and will collaborate closely with various teams to support the company’s financial goals. Responsibilities Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends. Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste. Reconcile balance sheet and ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies, including intercompany transactions. Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business goals. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement improvements. Essential Skills Experience in cost control and financial analysis. Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation. Competence in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger. Expertise in process improvement. Ability to investigate, analyze, and prepare financial and business information. Proficiency in Excel with the capability to manipulate large volumes of data. Experience in cost accounting and making journal entries. Experience in Accounting or Finance. Experience with SAP is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst. Experience in developing Power BI is a plus. Proficiency in English language skills. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. Work Environment This is an on-site position reporting to the Business Controller. The work environment is dynamic, focusing on collaboration with various teams to achieve financial goals. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 – $48.00/hr.
