• Installation Products (ELIP) Finance/Accounting team mainly supporting the Athens, TN site.

You will be responsible to perform support activities within General Accounting, Financial Analysis, Reporting & Consolidation in line with defined strategies, policies and procedures. This role will work hybrid in the Athens, TN facility.

Main responsibilities include:

Ensuring timely and efficient communication with Controller and the Finance/Accounting team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement Month-end activities to include (but not limited to): account analyses, account reconciliations, journal entry creation, account reviews, inventory analyses, balance sheet reconciliations Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting documents and presentations Financial compliance reporting to include monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews Qualifications for the role: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration with 5+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Oracle, SAP, ERP or related financial systems. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Manufacturing accounting experience required Candidates must have prior authorization to work in the United States More about us: ABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
