ABOUT THE BUSINESS
- The KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM) Debt Capital Markets team represents one of the strongest full-service, debt-side investment banking, sales, trading and distribution platforms in the nation.
We use a blend of real-world perspectives, backed by robust capabilities and relationships to help our clients use leverage to grow, make acquisitions and enhance operations. For 2024, our teams closed 569 transactions, raising more than $450 billion in debt for our clients across High Grade/ High Yield, Syndicated and Leveraged Finance and Real Estate Syndicated Finance. As part of KBCM the Real Estate Syndications team works interchangeably with our partners across KeyBank Real Estate Capital to provide multi-bank loan solutions that may include: + Corporate Credit Facilities (including Senior Unsecured Revolving Lines of Credit and Term Loans, Senior Secured Lines of Credit, Structurally Subordinate Lines of Credit, and Subscription Lines) + Acquisition and Bridge Loans + First Mortgage Secured loans on single assets or a pool of diverse assets The Real Estate Syndication team is a recognized industry leader in the marketplace for syndicated REIT credit facilities. Over the last decade the team has been a perennial top 3 Lead Arranger in the Admin Agent League Tables for REIT credit facilities averaging approximately $15 billion in annual volume.

ABOUT THE JOB
- As part of the team, an Analyst assists senior team members in structuring and executing syndicated loan transactions on behalf of our clients.
These duties may include financial statement analysis, preparation of marketing and offering materials, review of legal documents, answering bank questions on transactions in the marketplace, tracking comparable transactions data and keeping current on market trends and activities. The Analyst job function may also include travel to meet and pitch both existing and potential new clients and attend bank meetings/calls for new transactions being launched to market.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- This position works closely with other KBCM and KBREC teammates, as part of specific deal teams consisting of other Analysts, Associates, VP’s, Directors and Managing Directors to provide transactional advice, feedback and execution expertise for syndicated real estate loans.
As an Analyst, you will work to develop a detailed working knowledge of the syndicated loan market for real estate loans. This function will include direct communication with the broad KBCM team, internal product partners, lenders, borrowers, and prospects. Analysts are expected to work in the office and occasional travel will also be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- + Bachelor’s degree + 2 – 3 years of direct real estate, syndicated finance and/or investment banking transaction execution experience + Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills + Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Demonstrated leadership and teamwork + Highly motivated, self-directed, and strong work ethic
