Description We are looking for an analytical and detail-driven Financial Analyst to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this long-term contract role, you will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies by developing forecasts, managing budgets, and conducting in-depth variance analyses. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain both short-term and long-term financial forecasts that align with market trends and business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with various departments to ensure budgets reflect organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough variance analyses to identify discrepancies between actual performance and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data, assess financial implications, and support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights on key financial metrics to senior management to guide effective planning and resource allocation.
- Utilize accounting software systems like NetSuite and Adaptive Insights to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accrual accounting standards and auditing requirements.
- Assist in managing capital and evaluating financial risks to support long-term sustainability. Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including NetSuite and Adaptive Insights.
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, budget processes, and financial auditing.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data using data mining techniques to inform decision-making.
- Excellent knowledge of capital management principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and analysis.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
