Financial Analyst Geniusmesh Atlanta, GA 30308 Financial Analyst We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our finance team. You will support the CFO and contribute to shaping the company’s financial direction by developing models that assess business growth, profitability, and operational performance. Your insights will help guide high-impact decisions and track progress on key strategic goals. Role Overview As a Financial Analyst, your daily responsibilities will include: Creating and managing financial models that forecast P&L and cash flow to support strategic decision-making. Conducting in-depth analyses on initiatives that aim to reduce costs, grow revenue, and enhance efficiency. Linking financial outcomes with operational drivers to identify actionable insights and recommend improvements. Supporting the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes while proposing enhancements to current procedures and reporting. Performing ad hoc analysis to evaluate business performance and inform executive decisions. Partnering with senior leaders to understand their needs and provide financial insights aligned with business objectives. Assisting in the development of the annual budget in coordination with accounting and departmental teams. Analyzing financial statements and operational data to uncover trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
What We’re Looking For Required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with executive leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of financial analysis experience, specifically within the property & casualty insurance sector. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and modeling). Experience with data extraction tools such as SQL or Microsoft Access.
