The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support the strategic growth and profitability of Beazer Homes. This position analyzes financial data, prepares reports, and provides insights to senior leadership to guide business decisions. The Sr. Financial Analyst has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling with experience in the homebuilding or real estate industry.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
Analyze financial trends, market conditions, and operational performance to provide strategic recommendations.
Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, cost, margins, and project profitability.
Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential financial risks and opportunities.
Evaluate land acquisitions, development costs, and homebuilding project profitability.
Ensures compliance with SOX controls as directed by Corporate Accounting.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
BBA/BS in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
2-4 years prior finance or accounting experience.
Public Accounting experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and ERP systems.
Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
Intermediate to advanced level excel user (including pivot tables).
Hyperion, Essbase & JDE experience preferred.
