Job DescriptionAs a key member of Xplor’s Corporate FP&A team you will be responsible for developing business relationships across Xplor’s global organization to provide robust analysis, forecasting, and decision support to Xplor’s senior leadership team.
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our growing team. This person will provide analysis, planning, and decision support coverage to business stakeholders with a focus on establishing and executing best practices in financial modeling during strategic planning, forecasting & budgeting, and M&A activities. They will also partner closely with the business to identify and operationalize the tracking of key SaaS and Payments financial metrics, analyze and provide visibility into current performance against those metrics and provide financial analysis on future growth opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and prepare detailed budget and forecast models to drive high-quality decision making and closely monitor business performanceAnalyze trends in the business each month (monthly variance analysis of actuals, budgets and forecasts) and produce detailed reporting for senior management highlighting key trends, risks and opportunitiesCollaborate with and challenge the business to deliver robust, accurate budgets and forecastsSupport the development and implementation of improvements to planning processes and ensure alignment with the Corporate FP&A timelines, processes and practicesEnsure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance and KPI’sProvide insightful financial commentary on a monthly and ad-hoc basisSupport the continued buildout, development and improvement of KPI metric reportingAct as a finance business partner to key stakeholders and leadership on strategic financial matters including analysis of underlying drivers of business performance and business case preparationAid decision making for senior leaders through robust financial analysisChallenge financial performance compared to budget and forecast to identify key performance drivers as well as opportunities and risksPartner with FP&A and Controllership team members on continuous improvements to the financial close and reporting processes and timelinesWork closely with financial control teams to ensure financials are well understood and clearly communicatedThe average base salary pay range for this position is $80,000 to $130,000 In this position, you can work from home 100% in the following locations: any state in the lower 48 of the USQualifications2-5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance or similar roleBachelor’s degree, preference for finance, accounting or quantitative fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced/expert skills in Excel required, experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plusExperience with OneStream or other EPM (e.g. Hyperion) and/or Netsuite is preferred, but not required Work Skills / Personal CharacteristicsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailProven ability to manage timelines and multiple deliverablesProactive and effective communicator with ability to organize, anticipate and plan aheadAdaptability and flexibility; able to manage fast-paced change in a growing companyAbility to clearly articulate and present ideas in both written presentations and verbally, to both internal and external stakeholdersExperience with financial modeling and interpreting financial statements is requiredStrong interpersonal skillsPersistent, organized and highly motivatedAble to identify and implement change to increase efficiency and optimize processes / outputsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
