Job Description

Dental Financial Coordinator 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Lilburn, GA 30047 Tebo Dental , an Atlanta-based pediatric dental and orthodontic group, is looking for professionals to join our motivated and ambitious team in the accounts receivable department. Ideal candidates have strong leadership qualities, exceptional attention-to-detail, and prior experience coordinating the insurance, billing, and financial aspects within an orthodontic practice.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit various reports, including the EOD report, insurance aging report, and aging report Meet with executive management to review accounts and present updates Follow up on declined payments Create and delete payment subscriptions in the system Receive and post payments from patients and insurance providers Analyze EOB’s and patient contracts Prepare, submit, and follow-up on insurance claims Research accounts to address billing or balance inquiries Submit claims appeals Verify insurance benefits and add coverage information to patient accounts Prepare accounts for collection and send appropriate notices Prepare adjustment requests Gather all pertinent account details and prepare accounts for termination Other duties as assigned

Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced, patient-focused environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to be personable with patients and parents/guardians

Qualifications:

Fluency in Spanish is preferred Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic experience, working with insurance, billing, claims, and payment processing Knowledge of Dolphin software is a plus Effective time-management and organization skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention-to-detail
