  • Investment position purpose is to support translations of project proposals.

Responsibilities includes analyzing RFQ (Request for Quote) process, pricing review and negotiation, as well as budget control and invoice management. It involves research, compilation, and analysis of data to ensure supplier quotations align with the benchmark, tracking and managing costs, explaining any variances, and coordinating projects and updates with PDC OPS and Lean Operations Depts. This role also includes project management tasks, completion reporting, as well as supporting Leadership, Coordinators, and Admin’s requests and questions. The Senior Analyst, PDC Ops

  • Investment is expected to conduct market research and data analysis of raw materials and components for future investments.

Supports in all aspects of Capital planning and acquisition, facilities improvement & maintenance and accounts payable for the PDC network. Works with their team to ensure that all capital investment proposals and projects milestones/goals are met from beginning to end, while adhering to approved budgets.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES PROCUREMENT

(30%) Lead the development and presentation of capital investment business cases to Senior Managers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. Direct the RFQ process by issuing requests to suppliers, overseeing bid evaluations, and leading the award process through the issuance of Letters of Intent. Ensure accuracy in labor, material, and machine cost breakdowns. Manage PDC Supply inventory and purchasing strategy, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and leading vendor selection efforts to ensure optimal value. Lead contract negotiations for services and materials, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure favorable terms and alignment with operational needs. Oversee supplier relationships, including performance management, contract compliance, and corrective actions when necessary. Actively participate in strategic supplier selection and price control for direct accessory parts.

BUDGET CONTROL AND INVOICE MANAGEMENT

(15%) Oversee the review, endorsement, and tracking of project budgets and spending, ensuring alignment with investment goals and financial controls. Lead the development and execution of annual Capital Investment plans across the distribution network, providing strategic guidance and support to stakeholders. Manage budget variances by collaborating closely with procurement, finance, and project management teams to drive resolution and ensure accuracy. Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, serving as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal finance teams. Review and approve invoices, identifying discrepancies and coordinating corrective actions as needed. Lead the preparation and maintenance of expense reports, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting across projects. Guide financial administrators in the annual budgeting process, ensuring General Ledgers remain accurate and in good standing throughout the fiscal year. Oversee the analysis of operational forecasts and blanket POs, ensuring alignment with budget and investment strategy across all facilities.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

(15%) Lead and manage individual-led investment projects, such as equipment acquisitions for facilities, ensuring alignment with broader capital strategy. Define project scopes, break down tasks, establish timelines, and proactively assess risks and opportunities, guiding team collaboration and execution. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify project requirements, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring clarity and alignment from the outset. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide consistent updates to stakeholders and leadership to ensure transparency and accountability. Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align individual efforts with broader team projects and share critical information across workstreams. Ensure effective resource allocation and manage schedules, priorities, and expectations across multiple projects to drive successful outcomes. Provide leadership and guidance throughout cradle-to-grave investment projects, supporting the team in achieving execution milestones and financial targets. Drive the creation of executive investment planning materials and project presentation decks, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment. Lead investment and expense planning for new facility startups, coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution.

ON TIME LAUNCH

(15%) Oversee vendor performance to ensure timely material deliveries that support on-schedule project completion and minimize disruptions. Provide guidance and support to team members in managing purchase orders, tracking supplier deliveries, and coordinating invoice processing to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Lead the monitoring of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that all activities stay on track for a successful and timely launch.

NETWORK SUPPORT

(10%) Lead ongoing analysis of PDC equipment needs, incorporating changes in headcount and inbound/outbound volume trends to inform proactive investment planning. Consolidate and evaluate Capital Expenditure requests from all SCM sources, including PDC Managers and HQ leadership, and submit comprehensive budget summaries for leadership review and approval. Oversee supplier performance, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and delivery standards, and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Support and guide the team in maintaining all owned facilities in good repair, aligning repair priorities with operational and financial objectives.

OTHER DUTIES

(15%) Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives within the purchasing department, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance. Review and provide feedback on project proposals, ensuring alignment with procurement strategy, timelines, and budget goals. Recommend and drive enhancements to both MPA and vendor purchasing systems to improve efficiency, communication, and lead times. Take ownership of additional responsibilities as assigned by management, contributing to broader departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors in business preferred 4 year college degree in Business Administration or equivalent a plus. Fluency in Korean language is a requirement.
