HTI has an immediate opening for an Accounting Analyst with a manufacturing company located just west of Augusta, GA. This is a direct hire, full-time, onsite position. Working hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. The salary range is approximately $55,000 – $75,000 / year, depending on education and experience.

Requirements:

Must have Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Must have 2+ years of recent work (or internship) experience in an accounting or finance role, handling data analytics, financial analysis, and statistical reporting
Must have intermediate or advanced skills in Excel and Power BI
Experience in the manufacturing industry in an accounting or financial/business analyst role strongly preferred

Job Summary:

Generate statistical and accounting reports and analysis, and maintain data in the cost system. Support operational sites and Controller with operational data tracking and reporting for month end closing, budgeting, audits and other projects as needed. Ensure operational plans and budgets have accurate statistical data.

Job Duties:

Responsible for operational/statistical data tracking and reporting weekly/monthly key performance measurements for assigned sites, including energy tracking and analysis.
Assist with inventory reporting, working with operations and finance to ensure inventory transactions and reporting are accurate and timely.
Assist with tracking receipts of raw material inventory and inter-organization transfers to ensure inventory accuracy.
Prepare inventory usage variances to standard and analysis.
Maintain site performance metrics/KPI’s, trends and comparison reporting.
Assist Controller with financial/reporting requirements for month end closing process, annual budgeting and audits.
Support OPM inventory batch creation and closings for assigned sites.
Support Controller, Sr. Cost Accountant, and the Finance team with other accounting activities, financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Support assigned sites with financial audits and budgeting as needed.
Assist with other accounting/financial projects as needed.
