Job Overview:
As a Paraplanner in the field of financial services, your primary responsibility is to support financial advisors and planners in the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans for clients. This role involves thorough research, analysis, and preparation of financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Paraplanner plays a crucial role in the overall client experience by providing valuable support to the advisory team.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis of clients’ current financial situations, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities. Utilize financial planning software and tools to model various scenarios and assess the impact on clients’ financial goals.
Research and Due Diligence:
Stay abreast of market trends, investment products, and financial regulations. Conduct research on potential investment options and financial products. Assist in the due diligence process for selecting suitable investment strategies.
Client Data Gathering:
Collaborate with advisors to gather necessary client information for financial plans. Organize and maintain accurate client records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
Financial Plan Preparation:
Assist in the creation and development of comprehensive financial plans based on client goals and objectives. Prepare and generate financial planning reports, including cash flow analysis, retirement projections, and investment summaries.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all financial plans and documents comply with industry regulations and standards. Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and update procedures accordingly.
Client Communication:
Support advisors in client meetings by preparing materials and addressing client inquiries. Collaboration with

Work closely with financial advisors to understand client needs and preferences. Provide recommendations and insights to enhance the overall quality of financial plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are advantageous. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
