ROLE SUMMARY
As a Senior Principal Commercial IT Product Owner / Business Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner with product ownership responsibilities, bridging business operations and technology solutions across our commercial revenue-generating functions including sales, marketing, and customer success. This hybrid role combines deep business acumen with technical expertise and strategic decision-making authority to drive digital transformation initiatives and optimize commercial technology platforms. You will own business value delivery, make priority decisions that directly affect products and customer experience, and lead cross-functional teams in delivering strategic outcomes. This role reports to the VP, IT Business Partner & Business Delivery Center.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead strategic product ownership for commercial technology platforms, with primary focus on Salesforce and integrated marketing/sales technologies, making priority decisions that directly impact revenue and customer outcomes
Partner with sales operations, marketing, and customer success teams to define business requirements and own the strategic roadmap for commercial technology solutions
Design and optimize end-to-end business processes across the commercial tech stack to drive efficiency, revenue growth, and competitive advantage
Own product backlog prioritization and strategic decision-making for commercial systems, balancing business priorities with technical feasibility
Provide subject matter expertise in commercial systems architecture, particularly in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing automation, and customer engagement platforms
Lead stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration across multiple levels of the organization, from executive leadership to end users
Serve as a thought leader in commercial technology best practices and drive strategic initiatives that directly affect business outcomes
Partner with Commercial teams on user story development, crafting, and execution for end-to-end processing with focus on business value delivery
Make strategic priority decisions for technology investments and resource allocation within commercial systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems
10+ years of business analysis experience in commercial technology
Experience in Salesforce (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Product Owner)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in product ownership, revenue operations, or sales operations roles preferred
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and strategic decision-making
Track record of successful large-scale technology transformation projects with measurable business impact
Experience working in cross-functional, tech-forward environments with commercial focus
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ with strategic implementation experience
Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot) and revenue operations tools
Understanding of sales operations and revenue operations tools (e.g., Outreach, HubSpot)
Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for strategic decision-making
Knowledge of API integrations, data flow architectures, and systems integration strategy
Experience with Agile methodologies, product management frameworks, and cross-functional team leadership
Knowledge of Salesforce visual flows and advanced automation capabilities

Own and influence technology roadmap for commercial systems with strategic decision-making authority
Lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex technology solutions with focus on business value
Partner with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business strategy and make priority decisions
Responsible for delivering measurable business outcomes, not just gathering requirements
