Clean Harbors is seeking a
- Senior
- Financial Analyst.
- This role is in the Safety-Kleen Sustainability Solutions division and works closely with sales and operations to provide financial planning, analysis, reporting, and support. This position plays a key role in the company’s annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and financial close processes. A successful candidate will show demonstrated skills and a desire/capacity to learn and grow.

+ Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. + Lead the coordination and preparation of the annual operating budget and monthly forecasts providing value-added analysis and reporting to support the process and strategic decision making. + Assist in monthly financial close by reviewing P&L statements of assigned business units, perform research, and prepare/post journal entries, reclass entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. + Prepare month-end reports and value-added variance analyses to provide data and insights to explain financial performance. + Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly management reporting packages + Complete ad hoc decision support analyses to evaluate the financial soundness of business proposals. + Maintain key reporting and analysis processes by identifying process improvement opportunities and assisting with implementation of solutions. + Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls associated with financial reporting. + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or other business degree, MBA a plus. + 5-7 years of FP&A experience. + Advanced MS Excel; experience with data mining and manipulation. + Demonstrated business and financial acumen with exceptional analytical / quantitative skills. + Experience with ERP systems (Oracle a plus) and reporting tools (Power Bi a plus). + Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statements. + Driven self-starter with an innate curiosity and problem-solving skills. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
