The Financial Analyst willsupport North American operations and plays a key role insupporting operating teams and partnering with business leaders andkey stakeholders in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting,and analytics. Responsible for developing financial models,analyzing results, evaluating outcomes and performance againstKPIs, controlling expenses, and providing feedback and insightfulanalysis to drive decision making. The Financial Analyst’s responsibilities includebut are not limited to: Develop and maintain strong workingrelationships with business leaders and key stakeholders and isseen as a trusted advisor and “go-to-person” on financial matters.
Develop, measure and analyze performance against operating plans,KPI’s, and communicate results to help drive greateraccountability. Provide financial support for a major divisionwithin the company. Analyze and report on costs/expenses. Assist inthe preparation and management the financial planning process(including budgets, reforecasts) Provide quality feedback, monthlyvariance analysis commentary and escalating material deviations.
Ensure distribution of financial reports and other key financialinformation Identify risks and opportunities. Propose and implementchanges to the business systems and procedures to enable thechanges.
Background Desired:
BS in Accounting, Finance, Economicsor equivalent 1-3 years of financial analysis experience. Must havestrong understanding of the numbers in-order-to provideadvice/commentary to department heads. Strong businesspartnering/customer service experience. Intermediate to advancedExcel Skills required. Experience working in a fast-pacedentrepreneurial environment. Proven ability to affect change.
