Senior Financial Analyst, Workplace Investing Finance Decision Support and Analytics Team The Role This Senior Financial Analyst role is a member of the Workplace Investing Finance Decision Support and Analytics Team, a Center of Excellence (CoE) delivering impactful and insightful financial analysis to our business partners. The primary objective of the role will be to support a broad range of analytics, financial management, and strategic business partner support to drive improved outcomes and financial results to the broader organization. You will be responsible for conducting consultative analytics and creating executive level recommendations for key strategic priorities across all WI/HCG groups. Projects will range from short term ad-hoc deliverables to long term projects that could span 3+ months. In a highly matrixed organization, you will partner closely with WI Finance leadership and other CoEs, including Line Finance, Pricing, and Costing teams. Driving high impact / high visibility financial analytics and deliverables across WI/HCG Leading analyses and supporting strategic recommendations to management and business partners Synthesizing data, analyses, and conclusions into presentation form for senior management Thinking and working across not only WI, but enterprise-wide to ensure consistency in analysis approach, standards for data and definitions, and proactive support of time critical projects Finding opportunities to streamline work processes and simplify models to make the team more efficient and effective Proactive partnership and communication with business and Finance partners Using tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business Working with the business to understand investment opportunities and provide cost benefit analyses to support decision making The Expertise and Skills You Bring A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred 4+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling and analysis Financial services experience; experience in benefits outsourcing (WI) a plus Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with experience in data visualization tools such as PowerBI Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to ‘tell the story’ and communicate effectively with Finance and business partners at varying levels of the organization Comfort with accessing, pulling, and synthesizing datasets from multiple sources with little supervision Experience with Alteryx software and sourcing data from Snowflake a plus Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approach Ability to gain subject matter expertise in a short time period and apply institutional knowledge to develop quality analytics Proven ability, flexibility, and resourcefulness to manage several priorities in a deadline driven environment, having comfort with ambiguity Ability to work seamlessly in a highly matrixed environment, displaying the judgment to know when to involve other
