Treasury Analyst 2 at WEX Inc. in South PortlandSouth Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Preferred location:
Salt Lake City, UT metro area About the Team/Role Cash Management and Settlement Processing Present daily funding decisions and recommendations on the bank’s cash and Federal Reserve positions. Gather and review daily cash activity in the bank’s correspondent bank accounts including but not limited to Harris Bank, Key Bank, SunTrust, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America and BMO Canada. Compile funding requirements and incorporate scheduling of payments. Primarily manage the foreign bank and MasterCard process which requires thoroughly reviewing 24 foreign accounts held at Bank of America and Deutsche Bank for adequate funding for payments with strict deadlines and regulations. Work directly with MasterCard International on implementing new settlements, settlement related actions or problems that arise with settlement reconciliations or issues. Work directly with correspondent banks to open any new accounts and ensure all new accounts are set up in Reval to ensure seamless processing of new customer payments and settlements. Manage the Know Your Customer process with all foreign correspondent banks to ensure all accounts are operating in compliance with AML and banking regulations. Work with internal WEX teams (Credit and Accounting) to ensure customer security deposits are identified and accounted for. Security deposits made via checks are deposited in a timely manner to ensure customer account opening is not delayed. Work closely with domestic treasury analyst to ensure the daily funding requirements to cover the both domestic and international MasterCard settlements, and gather other business outflow activity (i.e. Certificate of Deposit repayments, MasterCard fees, customer rebates, operating invoices to WEX Corporation, etc.). Portfolio Management Manage MMDA portfolio and accounts to ensure funding transfers and payments are processed in a timely manner. Ensure all requirements and notifications are processed and documented. Manage daily ACH transaction requirements for any and all relationships timely and accurately How you’ll make an impact Miscellaneous Gather data to create and/or input daily journal entries to outside the scope of the Reval system Cross-training for all treasury functions for backup and coverage purpose Experience you’ll bring

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree
2-4 Years Banking Experience ( Treasury Preferred)
High sense of time management and attention to detail
Extremely reliable and self-directing
Able to identify and work with others to resolve issues
Flexibility and willingness to learn new functions The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX’s total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
