We are searching for a highly motivated and analytical individual to play a key role in supporting the Commercial Banking division, specifically the commercial lending function. The Commercial Credit Analyst is responsible for credit activities to support underwriting and ongoing credit analysis and escalation to the credit team as appropriate. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required; Finance, Accounting or Economics majors preferred.
RESPONISBILITIES
Spread an applicant company’s financial statements using LoanVantage, Parkside’s Loan Management System Analyze an applicant’s financial position and writing commercial loan summaries for presentation to Loan Committee Prepare credit memos on new commercial loan requests and existing loans being renewed, outlining credit worthiness based on financial data as well as ensuring that all loans proposed are following loan policy and banking regulations Monitor loan portfolios, including loan reviews and loan renewals Monitor credit, including borrowing base, financial covenant, margin loans and etc. Index and file through Synergy Document Management Work on other credit administrative functions and special projects as assigned Attend weekly Loan Committee meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required; Finance, Accounting or Economics majors preferred Relevant work experience preferred Strong understanding of commercial credit Experience reviewing business financial statements preferred Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft applications Detail oriented and highly organized Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines Able to interpret large volumes of quantitative data Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team Willingness to learn and contribute to company’s financial growth and profitability
