Financial Analyst The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia 2845 Lakeland Drive, Flowood, MS 39232 The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Financial Analyst, as follows: Position Financial Analyst Location Open Hours Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm About the Position Provide support and recommendations to bank management regarding financial decisions through the use of data analytics. Essential Duties Utilize data resources within the bank to help design, implement and execute business decisions based on data analytics. Oversee the accounting and recordkeeping for the bank’s holding company. Analyze financial data and provide forecasting and modeling support. Ensure proper reporting of income taxes, earnings per share, stock-based compensation and other consolidated accounts. Assist in the management of interest rate risk through data analysis, modeling and investment recordkeeping. Analyze balance sheet trends to ensure the bank is maximizing net interest margin. Perform analysis related to large depositors’ expected deposit activity, cost of funds and pledging securities. Assist the Controller in month-end and quarter-end processes. Oversee design, implementation, execution and back testing as it relates to CECL standards. Research new accounting standards and regulatory standards, as applicable. Serve as a liaison with internal and external auditors. Ensure compliance with various accounting and banking laws and regulations. Ensure proper regulatory reporting of all the applicable forms and filings. Assist in budget to actual analysis, as needed. Prepare monthly financial reports for the BOD for both the bank and holding company. Other duties as required by supervisory personnel. The Right Person 5 – 7 years’ experience in accounting or finance in an FDIC insured financial institution or similar work environment 4-year degree in accounting or related field.
