Senior Financial Analyst, Merchandising FinanceYour Impact:

Weare seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Financial Analyst tosupport the Merchandising function. By identifying the rightproducts that resonate with customers and cultivating strong vendorrelationships, the Merchant organization is central to Lowesdelivering over $80B of profitable Sales.

This role will beresponsible for delivering FP&A support to the Business Arealevel Merchandising Finance team. Through best-in-class FP&Aprocesses and tools, the Merchandising Finance SFA will enable theMerchandising Finance team to deliver insightful and proactivefinancial analysis that drive fact based, data driven decisionmaking. This role will work to challenge the status quo and divedeep to solve complex business problems.

The successful candidatewill be a creative thinker, have a strong bias to action and theability to collaborate across key support functions. The SeniorAnalyst must be able to work effectively within a matrixedorganization and demonstrate self-leadership and change agility, aswell as the ability to influence and interact with various levelsof the organization.

What you will do:

Support key FP&A processes, includingweekly business reviews, monthly sales and margin forecasting,annual Planning and Strategic PlanningDesign, develop & deliverinsightful financial reporting, dashboards and analysesLeadexecutive-directed projects, such as cost out opportunity sizing,expense productivity and commodity analysisCollaborate across thebusiness and with peers to provide root cause analysis andactionable insights based on financial and non-financial data tofunctional partnersProvide proactive and timely financial analysisthat highlights risks and opportunities to drive better businessdecisions

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business,Finance, Accounting or related field3 years of experience infinance or analytical role with a public company, public accountingor related experienceExperience with financial forecasting oranalytic modeling and report automationExperience with MicrosoftOffice tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

PreferredQualifications:

Master’s Degree or MBACPA, CFA or CMAExceptionalanalytical skills; highly detail orientedPrevious experience inFP&A, Corporate Finance, or Corporate AccountingExperience withbusiness intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, TM1,Hyperion/Essbase, Business Objects, Teradata, etc.)
