The Analyst will work in collaboration with other Kensington Capital Advisors (“KCA”) professionals to onboard, analyze, and report on debt and interest rate hedge trades while maintaining the core ethical values of KCA. The Analyst must demonstrate attention to detail, organization, analytical orientation, leadership, and possess the initiative to work in an independent and reliable manner. Building positive and professional rapport with the entire KCA team, JLL and non-JLL servicing, JLL Production, Agency contacts, and Borrowers is a key component to the Analyst providing value to KCA through financial analysis. The Analyst, with guidance from KCA management, will be expected to proactively ensure data accuracy while being available as direct support for the cap escrow and valuation teams for analytics, reports, and various projects.
Essential Functions:
Onboard new daily fundings and replacement interest rate caps into valuation system. Onboard new and replacement interest rate cap information from servicers into cap escrow system. Retrieve, transform, and validate market data at designated intervals and upon request for trading calls. Monitor cap escrow email inbox and promptly process requests, provide documentation, and answer questions from clients and servicers. Run daily hedge and debt valuations, format into custom reports, and send to clients. Proactively monitor systems and primary documents to identify data entry or typographical errors and work with clients / servicers to correct errors. Support other team members by creating ad hoc reports on system data when summary statistics are needed. Identify potential hedge advisory opportunities and present to each appropriate team.

Required Skills:
Undergraduate degree preferred with a minimum of 1-3 years in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent work experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to recognize and mitigate risk, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and manage deadlines, strong customer service skills (written and verbal). Middle or back-office capital markets or bank operations experience helpful.
