IT Business Analyst (Accounting & Finance)
Business Analysts / HYBRID in Charlotte, NC / W2 MUST
Record to Report (R2R)

  • Finance

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Financial Analyst supporting large-scale ERP implementations.
Experience working with finance and accounting stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across complex processes.
Strong accounting acumen with hands-on experience applying core principles such as accruals, journal entries, and financial reporting within an ERP environment.
Familiarity with interdependencies across financial and operational modules (e.g., Finace & Accounting, Sales, Procurement etc.)
Strong familiarity with the SAFe Agile Framework, including working in Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Experience writing user stories, features, and acceptance criteria within tools such as Azure DevOps.
Experience with food service, hospitality or contract services industry is a plus.
SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe PO/PM) is preferred
Prior experience in large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs is preferred
SAP S/4HANA or ECC a Plus

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document current and future state business processes in the Customer to Cash domain (e.g., customer master, point of sale information, order management, billing, receivables, subsidies).
Support the Product Manager and broader Product Management team in creating and refining Epics, Features, and Stories aligned with the SAFe Agile Framework.
Translate business needs including accounting and financial requirements into clear, concise, and actionable Features and User Stories (as needed) with acceptance criteria.
Understanding of how financial master data aligns with business processes
Validate system outputs (e.g., journal postings, reconciliations) against accounting expectations
Support the product teams testing efforts by suggesting test cases that reflect real-world accounting scenarios
Facilitate cross-functional workshops and discovery sessions with business and technical teams and document outcomes.
Assist in defining the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and product increments for the C2C track.
Collaborate closely with Functional and Technical leads to ensure that solutions are feasible and fit for purpose.
Provide ongoing support to the C2C product teams throughout the development lifecycle, including testing and business validation.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate them as appropriate.
Support change management and post-go-live user feedback collection and analysis.
Serve as a liaison between the Product Management layer and Product teams in order to ensure features and requirements are clearly understood and executed
