This role requires a detail-oriented professional with advanced Excel skills who excels in critical thinking and problem-solving. As a Commissions Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate calculation, analysis, and reporting of commission payments while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency. This is an in-office position. Key Responsibilities Calculate and process commission payments accurately and in a timely manner using Excel and other reporting tools. Analyze commission structures, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues to ensure compliance with company policies. Collaborate with internal teams to understand commission plans and provide clarification as needed. Maintain and update commission tracking systems to reflect changes in policies, carriers, agents of record, and/or commissions history. Prepare detailed statements, reports, and analysis for management and/or clients, providing insights and recommendations based on findings. Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and reconciling discrepancies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to commission analysis and reporting. Qualifications Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions such as XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, macros, concatenate, etc. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in working with numerical data. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to explain complex calculations and reports. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. Knowledge of sales incentive structures and commission plans Experience with commission software is a plus. Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional hours as needed to meet business needs. Compensation and Benefits Financial – hourly pay, with an annual target salary of $65k – $70k, including a profit-sharing target of %10. Profit sharing is based upon the company’s financial performance and individual’s contribution to company success.
