Position/Purpose:

SAP Strategy and Design Accountant role, in the Corporate Financial Systems team located in Charlotte, NC is responsible for project related activities interfacing with cross-functional Business and IT teams. Projects will include ISC Site Transitions, SAP Deployments as well as technical and functional business process improvement projects. This role will provide support to SAP operations and perform root cause analysis on SAP related issues. The candidate will work with other cross functional project teams to ensure common SAP and business solutions are achieved that are compliant with GAAP and Government regulations. You will report directly to our Finance Systems Manager and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. 3 Days in office and 2 days Hybrid.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with cross functional ERP teams in support of site transitions, SAP deployments and system enhancements Participate in system and process analysis in evaluating business model required to be support transition and deployment activity Participate in data mapping, data conversion, user acceptance testing, go-live preparation and support and site closeout activities in support of transition and deployment activity Develop or enhance financial/business solutions; troubleshoot SAP production issues Develop technical solutions for system changes, work with IT for system enhancements and configuration Ensure thorough testing of all solutions and ensure cross-functional activities do not adversely impact finance data, processes or compliance Evaluate financial systems to ensure controls are in place to provide a robust controls environment. Provide guidance in support of SOX, internal and external systems audit requests Partner with SAP Operations team to execute on activities aligning with Aerospace, Corporate, and HOS strategies and initiatives
