VPG is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated General Ledger Accountant who supports our General Ledger accounting functions to join our DSI team.
This is an onsite role in Wendell, NC!
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
5-10 years of cost and financial accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOXpliance, and internal controls.
Proven ability to manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Experiencepiling and analyzing product cost data, inventory valuation, and usage reporting.
Skilled in maintaining general ledger and sub-ledgers (AP, AR, fixed assets, accruals, etc.).
Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
Strong analytical,anizational, and time management skills.
Must be able to work onsite and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
