Job Description

Financial Analyst

Forecasting & Budgeting:

Assist in developing forecasts and budgets that align with company goals and provide insight into cost-saving opportunities.

Financial Modeling:

Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic projects.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

Provide ad hoc financial analysis to answer urgent business questions or evaluate unique opportunities.

Variance Analysis:

Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances, and presenting findings to leadership.

Data Consolidation:

Aggregate and analyze data across multiple teams or business units to identify risks, opportunities, and financial drivers.

Reporting:

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to support decision-making at various organizational levels.

Process Improvement:

Evaluate existing financial processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

Experience:

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a closely related role.
Prior contract, consulting, or project-based work experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with financial software and systems such as [SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar].
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Exposure to SQL or other data querying tools is a bonus.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex deadlines in a dynamic environment.
