Overview Financial Analyst RiverWoods is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team! at the Exeter Campus. The ideal candidate will provide quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff, and visitors. The Financcial Analyst is responsible for analytical support to all entities within The RiverWoods Group system, whose purpose in turn is to focus on future growth and continuing to fulfill our founders’ vision, so that The RiverWoods Company can focus on the three core campuses. Exhibit a solid understanding of GAAP and not-for-profit accounting.
Support the annual budget process as well as ongoing forecasting.
Provide analytical support to the Director of FP&A, Executive Directors, and other business leaders.
Prepare, analyze, and consult on monthly and quarterly financial reports including key performance indicators, and trend/variance analyses.
Support the implementation and use of new accounting and finance software.
Support the Director of FP&A in evaluating systemwide operating performance and proposing financial efficiencies.
Complete ad hoc projects and recommend actions to management.
Calculate the financial qualification of future residents.
Increase technical and industry knowledge by attending conferences/workshops and reviewing publications.
Support Director of FP&A in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor’s preferred
Inquisitive mind, curious about how the numbers tell a story
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Appreciation and ability to collaborate with non-financial areas of our business
Minimum of five (5) years experience in financial analysis; working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger systems and financial reporting
Non-profit or health care industry experience is a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office software skills –
