Description:

The PM / BAhas broad-based responsibilities for the functional design,business line specification and deployment of Finance Systems andProcess changes initiatives at both an Americas Legal Entity andIHC level. The candidate will work as a team member of projects.

General responsibilities include: Participate in project planningand cost estimates devising strategic and well-thought-outsolutions to business initiatives. Ability to communicateeffectively in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

Generate, analyse, and document user requirements and businessprocesses for IT development (BRD). Undertake data assessment, datagap analysis and remediation. Implement operational accountingschemas throughout product lifecycle. Plan and manage useracceptance and migration testing up to successful delivery ofend-product or remediation solution. Ensure proper and adequateaftercare and follow-up to remediate any unforeseen issues. Manageissues and escalate effectively. Ensure on-time quality delivery ofprojects and tasks assigned. Liaise and coordinatecross-functionally to review requirements with stakeholders toenable design and development in liaison with IT, coordinatetesting, support go-live, and provide long term support foroperational readiness, governance, controls, and aftercare.

Facilitate working group meetings with effective presentationmaterials and documentation; prepare agendas, document-meetingoutcomes and communicate to stakeholders and management. Supportenhancement efforts of the overall control environment, includingupstream processes and controls. Specific responsibilities for theFinance Implementation Project PM / BA role: Track timelines andbudget, report weekly updates, lead, and participate inOpCo/SteerCo meetings Work closely with Finance Strategy group forcurrent and upcoming new transactions or activities Acts as thecontact person within the project teams and for the business linein relation to data and functional aspects and document andvalidate BRD updates accordingly. Excellent PowerPoint and Excelskills to allow for analysis, summary, and presentation to workinggroup and management as needed. Ensure appropriate coverage toanticipate and enable resolution for any unforeseen or blockingissues with appropriate escalation. Ensures proper changemanagement controls, rules, and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

7-10 years of strong experience in projectimplementation in the field of financial services industry. PMoriented with ability to work on leading projects, stakeholderpresentations using Opco/Steerco, minutes and budget trackingUnderstanding of financial products and system architectures,including accounting business processes including financial andmanagement reporting (e.g. IFRS and US GAAP), month-end closingprocess, regulatory reporting and entity consolidations iscritical. Strong accounting and basic general ledger structureknowledge are must. Experience and knowledge trading and markets /corporate banking / retail and wholesale banking / regulatoryreporting (e.g. Client, CFTC, SEC). Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills, including business process and dataanalytics. Excellent skills in PowerPoint Ability to workeffectively in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
