ASAP Position Summary:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Cost Basis Team on a 10-month contract in Pennington, NJ. This role supports tax reporting operations, focusing on updating and resolving cost basis data in the Global Tax Lots system. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and some experience with financial statements, as accurate reporting to the IRS is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Process routine and standard transactions according to established procedures. Handle client inquiries and update requests related to cost basis via New Service Gateway and email. Analyze and resolve transactional discrepancies impacting tax lot accuracy. Maintain high standards of quality service for both internal teams and external clients. Generate reports and perform data entry tasks relevant to financial and tax operations. Refer complex issues to the Operations Team Manager or Supervisor as needed.

Required Skills:

1+ year of experience in financial operations or related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work overtime during tax season (January-April). Solid understanding of financial policies, procedures, and regulations. High attention to detail and accuracy.
