Minimum Pay:

Position Overview Provides analytical financial support to leadership, external auditors, and consultants. Analyzes financial statement components including revenue and expense accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and valuation of the respective accounts, in conjunction with compilation of annual reports or similar filings. Communicates with department heads to review budget vs. actual variances, understands documented variance explanations and compiles the data into robust reporting packages for leadership’s review. Works with the Budget and Reimbursement team in the preparation and filing of the annual Federal and State cost report submission prior to filing deadlines. Prepares appropriate supporting documentation for various areas of the Federal and State cost report submission and provide responses to audit questions. Filings will include compiling and analyzing large data sets to ensure amounts are categorized appropriately. Participates in modeling exercises to determine impact on cost report and third party reserves. Builds new budget plan files, builds/edits workflow, role-based security and automated reports within the budget and reporting software tool. Provides consultation, training, and education to hospital executives, directors, managers to help utilize financial software most efficiently. Works collaboratively with management engineering through maintenance of the productivity software tool. Utilizes budget and reporting software to create and manage budget plans and evaluate impact of changing assumptions on projected and budgeted models. Responsible for integrating data seamlessly, ensure data is reconciled with no variances following each upload into the budget and reporting software. Uploads will include general ledger, human resources, payroll, statistical data, patient systems, clinical detail and other systems as needed. Performs advanced level of Excel including v-lookup, IF formulas, pivot tables, etc. Performs all other duties as assigned with a willingness to adapt to changing departmental demands. Maintains exceptional attention to detail. Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical.
