Clinical Trials Financial Analyst Job Description We are seeking a Clinical Trials Financial Analyst to manage and optimize financial operations within clinical trials. This role involves researching financial transactions, managing journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to address a significant backlog. Responsibilities Research and determine the purpose of financial checks. Enter necessary journal entries to maintain financial records. Ensure checks are sent to appropriate locations and address the $3 million backlog. Assist with accounts receivables and follow up on outstanding revenue payments. Liaise with central Research Financial Services (RFS) to close out clinical trials. Review incoming revenue and cash weekly, identifying new revenues and obtaining payment backups for processing. Perform timely journal entries. Collaborate with RFS to clean up and identify project sources for unapplied payments. Assist with monitoring EPIC MP requisitions, updating trackers, and maintaining project account balances using Oracle reports. Perform additional duties as assigned, including supporting patient recruitment and enrollment processes. Essential Skills Proficiency in Oncore, EPIC, and Oracle. Strong understanding of clinical trials, FDA regulations, and clinical research. Experience in budgeting, negotiation, and financial analysis. Ability to liaise effectively with financial services and manage accounts receivables. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a science-related field. Experience with patient recruitment, enrollment, site visits, and pre-screening, particularly in oncology. Work Environment This role offers a 100% remote work environment initially, transitioning to one day in the office per week starting in January. Candidates can reside in NY, NJ, DE, or PA. The organization is a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, expanding its oncology footprint with a new 12-story standalone cancer center to be completed in 2025. This facility will house the entire oncology program.
