Financial Analyst – Entry Level 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Metuchen, NJ 08840 Robert Half is looking for an Entry-Level Financial Analyst in the Middlesex County, NJ area. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in monitoring transactions, investigating flagged activities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed investigations on alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems to identify unusual patterns or potentially suspicious activities. Review and analyze client transactional behavior to detect inconsistencies or deviations from expected norms. Follow up on flagged transactions, performing due diligence to determine their legitimacy. Prepare clear and concise documentation of findings for senior compliance staff or regulatory review. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information related to customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes. Stay informed about industry regulations and apply them effectively in daily operations. Participate in ongoing training sessions to remain up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and compliance best practices. Assist the technology team in optimizing transaction monitoring systems for improved performance. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting Understanding of accounting functions, including accrual accounting and auditing processes. Knowledge of budget planning, capital management, and financial analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively within a team. Willingness to participate in training sessions to stay current with industry standards. Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
