Job Description
Perform detailed analysis on prospective investment opportunities including but not exclusive to public equities, public debt instruments, private companies, real estate, and derivatives in both domestic and international markets. Perform detailed diligence of existing and prospective investments using research methods including management meetings, expert calls, surveys, data mining, site visits, and online research. Study companies in all areas under the industrials sector, and identify investment themes based on industry trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance or Economics, plus two years of experience in the position offered or another investment analyst or investment associate role.•All required experience must have included working at an active long/short equity, multi-strategy fund, and/or private equity fund; performing in-depth fundamental research on companies in the industrials sector; performing valuation analyses including DCF, trading comparables and precedent transactions; and building and maintaining databases for (1) analyzing macro and microeconomic trends in renewable supply chain, and (2) analyzing macroeconomic trends in emerging markets. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20% of the time to attend industry conferences.#LI-DNI.
