In this critical role, you’ll work closely with lenders and leadership to assess creditworthiness, evaluate financial risks, and ensure our lending decisions align with sound business practices and regulatory requirements. Whether you’re in the office, hybrid, or working remotely (within driving distance), you’ll be a vital part of the team ensuring the financial health of our commercial portfolio. What You Bring to the Table A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 2 – 5 years of banking experience , with a working knowledge of commercial loan review procedures and current lending regulations. A fast learner with strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and independently. Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial statements with precision and clarity. Excellent attention to detail , organization, and documentation skills—nothing gets past you! Clear and professional communication skills —you’re comfortable explaining complex financial data to internal stakeholders. Local to Central PA / Northern MD region and able to travel to the Gettysburg, PA office when needed.
What You’ll Do:
Analyze financial statements and borrower data to assess creditworthiness and assign appropriate risk ratings on commercial loan requests. Prepare detailed credit write-ups and documentation to support lending decisions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Support relationship managers and lenders by providing timely financial analysis and insight to guide loan structuring and risk assessment. Monitor and stay informed on relevant industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit analysis and commercial lending. Assist in the preparation of Board and management reports , including monthly summaries of lending activity and risk trends.
