$67,000.00/Yr to $77,000.00/YrDUE

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities of general ledger, inventory analysis, fixed asset records, cost accounting, month end close, and assisting with budget creation, forecasting and reporting. Additionally, for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis and tracing costs back to underlying activities. They will also utilize SAP to analyze, obtain, prepare, compile and present information.
ResponsibilitiesWork on special projects within the finance team, such as product costing, and inventory cycle counts and analysisGeneral understanding of core finance and accounting principlesPerforms month end close activities including journal entries and general ledger account analysisPerform in-depth analysis of cost and inventory variancesUnderstanding and analysis of P&L, CAPEX, and headcountAbility to support Operating/Finance Teams with finance/business analysis and ad hoc requestsDetailed understanding of manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing periodic variances and their causesPerform capital spend project tracking and manage fixed assets recordsMaintain flexible costing models and accounting classifications across a variety of productsWork with the other plant departments as a team member to increase quality and productivity, maintain safety throughout the workplace, and participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activitiesRequirementsB.S. in Accounting/Finance
REQUIRED
– Experience using SAP ERP in a manufacturing environment.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Functions, Pivot Tables, Complex Formulas, etc)Knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in fast paced environment, bringing multiple priorities to completion.
Ability to understand complex analysis and conclusions/directivesExcellent interpersonal skills and willingness to be team playerProfessional, responsible, energetic, and accountable.
