This key position will support the organization’s reporting needs. The Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President of Achieva Resource and Director of Financial Operations. About Achieva Resource Achieva Resource is one of five affiliate non-profit corporations within The Achieva Family of Organizations. Achieva Resource is responsible for all administrative functions, specifically the following departments: 1) Finance, 2) Advancement (Communications and Development), 3) Human Resources, 5) Information Technology, and 6) Facilities Management. Achieva Resource is responsible for $45 million in revenue and the budgets of the six affiliate nonprofit corporations within The Achieva Family of Organizations. About the Position The Financial Analyst’s primary role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, grant tracking, and analysis to help ensure informed decision-making across departments and programs. For more information about Achieva, see www.achieva.info. Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and utilization reports for all Corporations. Track and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast; identify and explain variances. Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and multi-year forecasts Identify trends and patterns in financial data to inform business strategies for Corporations and Departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis. Support grant budgeting and reporting, including restricted funds tracking and compliance. Perform Account Reconciliation and support the annual audit preparation. Provide ad-hoc analytical support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Three years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in finance or a related industry, is preferred. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with financial concepts, budgeting, and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Key Performance Measurements, financial modeling, and statistical analysis. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. Knowledge of non-profit reporting and grant requirements. Expert in Excel and knowledge of PowerBI. Knowledge of fund accounting software and third-party payroll and billing systems.

Working Environment:

Full-time position, hybrid (2 days a week remote, 3 days in office).
