Join our Corporate Finance team as an Accounting Analyst, Associate (Fixed Asset) and help us keep our capital investments on track and our financial records rock-solid. Purpose of the Role As an Accounting Analyst, Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining UPMC’s fixed asset records and supporting general ledger integrity. You’ll assist with accounting and analytical activities, contribute to budget preparation, and help ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization.
Location:
This position will be based out of Harrisburg, PA. This position will have the potential to work from home with a hybrid schedule which includes some days in office per week and some days at home per week. What You’ll Do Responsible for reviewing & approving capital requisitions
Additions, transfers, disposals, and location assignments in the Asset Management System.
Placing construction and IT projects in service.
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts. Propose correcting entries.
Assist in information gathering for various required management reports.
Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
Assist in administrative tasks or special projects as needed.
Prepare and post basic monthly journal entries. Why UPMC?

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field required.
OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience.
Microsoft Office spreadsheet application and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
