Overview This position is part of a group of resources responsible for financial analysis duties supporting a range of financial functions within PPL including Treasury and Financial Planning & Budgeting and/or Corporate Development. Under direct supervision, responsibilities include both project-based and daily/monthly activities supporting these functions. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction. #INDPPL #PPL Responsibilities This position may be hired at the Associate Financial Analyst level or the Financial Analyst level. Responsibilities listed below reflect those of the Associate Financial Analyst level. Additional/varying responsibilities may be included for other levels of the role. Provides analytical support to PPL’s corporate financial functions including various scenario and sensitivity analysis. Assists with compiling and analyzing financial information to meet management reporting requirements including reconciliations and variance explanations. Participates in the development of presentations and other materials to key stakeholders including executive management, the Board of Directors, rating agencies, and investment community. Contributes to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis at the request of various levels of management under direct supervision. Assists in developing, streamlining and maintaining flexible financial models. Develops and maintains strong relationships with personnel from PPL’s business lines and other corporate support group functions. Analyzes and prepares monthly and quarterly reports as requested by management. Performs other duties as directed or assigned. Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers. Level offered will be determined by the successful candidate’s background, education & experience. Basic Qualifications Associate Financial Analyst Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. 0-2 years financial experience, which could include co-op assignments Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills Financial Analyst Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline. 2+ years financial experience, which could include co-op assignments Requires knowledge and skills in own discipline; still acquiring higher level skills Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

CFA / CPA

Intermediate knowledge of Excel. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Capacity to perform analysis while understanding big picture implications and willingness to solve problems. Strong written and oral communication skills. Self-starter with a natural sense of urgency, curiosity, and initiative.
