Salary:

This role is perfect for those who are passionate about financialanalysis, IT, and science. The successful candidate will beresponsible for the financial governance of our IT department,including budgeting and forecasting. Job Details Responsibilities:

1. Lead the financial governance ofthe IT department, ensuring compliance with company policies andregulatory requirements. 2. Develop, manage, and monitor the ITbudget, providing regular reports to senior management on budgetperformance. 3. Conduct financial forecasting for IT projects,including cost estimates, return on investment analysis, and riskassessment. 4. Collaborate with IT project managers to developproject budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are deliveredwithin budget. 5. Provide financial advice and guidance to ITmanagement, helping to make informed decisions about IT investmentsand initiatives. 6. Conduct regular financial analysis of IToperations, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiencyimprovements. 7. Participate in the financial planning and strategydevelopment of the IT department. 8. Liaise with other departmentsand stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT financialmanagement and broader company objectives.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field isrequired. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications(such as

CFA, CPA

) would be an advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years’experience in financial analysis or financial management,preferably in an IT environment. 3. Proven experience in financialgovernance, budgeting, and forecasting. 4. Strong understanding ofIT operations and costs, and the ability to translate thisunderstanding into effective financial management. 5. Excellentanalytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financialdata and provide clear and actionable insights. 6. Strongcommunication skills, with the ability to present financialinformation to non-financial audiences. 7. Proficiency in financialsoftware and IT systems. 8. Knowledge of the scientific industrywould be an advantage. 9. High level of integrity andprofessionalism, with a commitment to ethical financial management.10.
