If you are interested in joining an exciting and dynamic team, this may be the role for you! Our team supports Oracle Applications On Premise business in addition to the newly developed SWAT team selling SaaS to new customers.
As a member of the Global Business Finance team, as the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide business analysis and support to divisional/functional finance leadership team.
We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically minded individual to help the organization make thoughtful business decisions. Responsibilities may include supporting divisional/functional organization with reporting, budgeting, critical thinking and ad-hoc analysis.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be a key member of the Finance team and must be willing to roll up your sleeves, and hit the ground running with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
As a member of Oracle’s finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Key role in the creation of compelling presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations (Quarterly Business Reviews, Ad Hoc Requests)
  • Provide general analytic support of departments and key business initiatives
  • Planning and budgeting: participate in annual planning and budgeting cycle in line with corporate and business requirements
  • Proactively drive analysis on key trends and drivers behind the trends we are seeing in the results by preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting
  • assessing current and future business risk, and communicating/presenting key messages to senior management
  • Participate in various Global Business Finance change initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency effectiveness of financial reporting
  • Participate in Quarter end activities and contribute in close process
  • Link business strategy to financial reporting, critical metrics, and goal setting
  • Analysis and modeling of business unit to include areas related to bookings/revenue reporting, expense analysis, and forecasting and budgeting
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Econ, Accounting, or similar. MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Finance business partnering experience working with high level leadership; analytical approach, providing key insights, and ability to tell a story from the data
  • Able to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Strong organizational skills

US:

Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
