Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis. Track financial and operational KPIs, highlighting variances and actionable insights. Partner with team leads to align budgeting with strategic priorities and department plans. Analyze and report on unit economics, pricing strategy, and business margins. Support day-to-day finance operations including invoice tracking, purchase order creation, spend management, and coordination with the accounting team.
Operational Strategy & Reporting:
Design and maintain dashboards to monitor performance across departments. Build tools and templates that streamline data capture and improve decision-making. Work with the COO to evaluate business processes and recommend efficiency improvements. Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with clear, concise reporting.
Strategic Projects & Initiatives:
Act as an internal consultant on high-priority operational or financial projects. Assist in evaluating vendors, tools, and partners that impact cost structure or growth potential. Support new business initiatives, market analysis, and investment cases. Conduct research and develop presentations to support executive decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Serve as the connective tissue between finance, operations, and leadership teams. Ensure key decisions are supported by robust analysis and aligned with business goals. Assist with process mapping, documentation, and change management across teams. What we’re looking for 1-3 years of experience in finance, business operations, consulting, or a related analytical role Strong modeling and analysis skills using Excel, Google Sheets, and/or BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) Experience with financial systems and accounting platforms (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite) Proficiency in querying large datasets using SQL to support financial reporting, performance analysis, and ad hoc decision-making preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data for non-financial stakeholders High attention to detail with a bias toward action and execution Comfort in fast-paced environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Why you’ll love working here Early-stage visibility – you’ll work directly with senior leadership and shape how decisions get made.
