Financial Business Analyst Job Description One of our medical manufacturing clients is looking to add a Financial Business Analyst to their team. This individual will be accountable for delivering monthly updates on financial performance, comparing them to the annual plan and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and aiding in the creation of future projections for local management and headquarters contacts. The role involves examining, verifying, and communicating financial results on a monthly basis, providing actionable insights and analysis to inform business decisions. Responsibilities Accountable for delivering monthly updates on financial performance, comparing them to the annual plan and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and aiding in the creation of future projections for local management and headquarters contacts. Examine, verify, and communicate financial results on a monthly basis, providing actionable insights and analysis to inform business decisions. Offer comprehensive sales analysis by product line, customer, and key products. Conduct profitability analyses of business models and identify optimization levers. Assist in evaluating pricing, costs, and profitability, and propose improvements to management. Support sales leadership in setting annual and multi-year targets for revenue, market share, and profit margin analysis. Develop analytical models and tools to evaluate the impact of various strategic and product growth scenarios. Define measures to optimize the Earnings Before Tax (EBT) of the US company. Automate reporting using BI and CRM tools. Enhance efficiency and streamline processes in company projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in budgeting, KPI tracking, forecasting, SAP, and SAP ERP. Expertise in Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Strong skills in trend analysis, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Experience in financial modeling and sales analysis. Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with SAP / Infor. Experience with Click Sense and HubSpot. Work Environment The work environment begins with a six-month in-office period, after which it transitions to a hybrid model, with two days per week at the office.
