Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing a key role in the corporate planning & field finance team. The role is focused on planning, analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting in the critical areas of Franchise Finance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(Key Responsibilities) Responsible for preparing accurate annual planning, quarterly forecasting and monthly analysis of franchise operations related expenses. Accountable for producing accurate reporting of financial results for field leadership, other functional leaders and Senior Management/External Reporting. Supports the Director of Field Finance in the preparation of annual restaurant level plans and the analysis of field initiatives. Monitors franchisee financial performance, highlights trends and presents opportunities. Identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency to grow the bottom line and help identify trends and success/opportunity areas. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required. MBA preferred.
Experience:
2 years of relevant experience with an MBA or 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills. Excellent business partnering skills. Ability to manage multi-project workload within tight deadlines through strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills. Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion). Experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail environment preferred but not required.
