This role will focus on supporting Shutterfly’s Operations Finance in financial planning and analysis.
Other focus areas include: Operations Finance raw materials management and supporting annual budget/strategic planning Drive Operations Finance initiatives including P&L reporting and management analytics Provide stakeholders and leadership status updates of Operations Finance initiatives, including new opportunities and potential risks Help identify and drive cost and efficiency initiatives Develop and track KPIs utilizing tools and technology The Operations Finance materials role will require a high-energy, detail-oriented individual, adept at working through large data sets, structuring analyses, budgeting/ forecasting, clarifying results, and effectively communicating key takeaways. The role will partner with our key business partners including senior Finance and Operations executives, supporting business decisions, budgeting, providing weekly materials reporting, and helping drive in-flight initiatives.

What You’ll Do Here:

Manage regular budgeting/ forecasting for operations materials and detail actual vs. forecasted results
Partner with senior business leadership to continue to provide relevant KPIs and improve the framework for ongoing reporting and analysis
Support financial planning and financial reporting in order to assist and influence senior leadership with financial analysis
Ad-hoc business case analysis to support business leadership decisions
Develop reporting packages and dashboards for financial and business review meetings that succinctly summarize key insights
Cross-functionally work with Accounting, Central FP&A, and Operations to provide deeper P&L understanding / management to senior business leaders

The Skills You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent experience 3 or more years relevant experience, ideally within financial planning and analysis at medium to large size companies, public or private Experience with Operations Finance for medium to large manufacturing company
Exceptional analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving (mfg costing) Systems savvy, ideally with experience using financial planning and reporting tools Adaptable to changes and agile with execution Strong results orientation and bias for action across the finance organization Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills Experience with Oracle/SAP and Hyperion/EPM a plus If this aligns to your career goals, skills and experience, we want to work with you!
