Full Job Description Position Overview:

We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Insights, Analytics and FP&A to support the company’s financial health through strategic planning, financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. You’ll be a key player in monitoring business performance and providing actionable insights that support growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Planning & Forecasting:

Lead the development and maintenance of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for various business units.

Financial Forecasting:

Partner with Commercial and Operations teams to prepare accurate and insightful financial projections.

Performance Analysis:

Monitor actual results vs. budget and forecast. Analyze variances and provide meaningful explanations.

Reporting & Data Visualization:

Create and deliver reports and dashboards, including daily sales reporting and ad-hoc financial analyses.

Data Management:

Oversee master data management, ensure data integrity across multiple ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Great Plains), and upload/maintain data in reporting systems like IBM Planning Analytics.

Ad Hoc Projects:

Provide support with month-end close and other finance-related projects as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA, modeling). Strong PowerPoint skills for communicating financial insights. Familiarity with financial systems like NetSuite and Great Plains. Basic coding knowledge in SQL and/or Python is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and discretion. Self-motivated with effective time management skills.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Bridges Consumer Healthcare’s corporate office. Occasional travel or extended hours may be required based on project needs.
