Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ACH Reconciliations Analyst to manage the reconciliation of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of electronic payment and deposit records, identifying discrepancies, and working cross-functionally to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily reconciliation of ACH debits and credits across multiple bank accounts. Investigate and resolve unmatched transactions and exceptions by liaising with banks, internal departments, and clients. Monitor ACH returns, reversals, and rejects; initiate appropriate corrective actions. Ensure reconciliation activities comply with internal controls and industry regulations (e.g., NACHA). Prepare and maintain reports and logs for audit and compliance purposes. Assist in month-end close processes related to ACH activities. Support process improvements and automation initiatives for reconciliation procedures. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot reconciliation system issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in financial reconciliation, banking, or treasury operations. Familiarity with ACH networks, bank portals, and electronic payment systems. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite). Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automation tools or reconciliation software. Knowledge of NACHA operating rules and guidelines. Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment.
