Overview Job Summary Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to be responsible for the month-end close process and perform Bank and GL account reconciliations. This role will support various aspects of finance and accounting and requires solid accounting experience with strong analytical skills Responsibilities + Creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data. + Reconcile various bank accounts to general ledger. + Primary financial resource for ancillary Baptist entities. + Assist as needed with annual audit, tax filings, and special projects. + Provide assistance to the Corporate Finance team as needed with its ongoing financial activities. + Demonstrates an ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity within the data warehouses of all available financial information systems. + Demonstrates computer proficiency with all System financial information systems including core transaction systems, decision support system, data warehouse and PC Financial Application tools to complete internal and external work products. + Displays professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. + Completes assigned goals. Specifications Experience Minimum Required Preferred/Desired + 3 to 5 years experience preferred. + Proficiency in Enterprise Reporting System Oracle + Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications Education Minimum Required + Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience. Preferred/Desired + Master’s Degree. Training Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Licensure Minimum Required Preferred/Desired + CPA
