Job Description
Description We are in search of an Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis to be an integral part of our team located in Collierville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical financial insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance. Your expertise in financial analysis, expense management, and budget forecasting will be invaluable in this role. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize expense management through operational efficiencies
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify financial trends and anomalies
- Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts and strategic plans, focusing on the impact of PL on the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Analyze monthly expenses, comparing them against the budget and reporting any variances
- Assist in the creation of annual budgets in coordination with department heads
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
- Provide detailed expense reports for review by management
- Utilize business systems and data mining techniques to conduct thorough financial analysis
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Power BI for financial reporting and analysis
- Perform various accounting functions and auditing as necessary. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Proficiency in business systems and data mining techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions and auditing
- Experience with budget processes and capital management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel
- Strong skills in financial reporting and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
