Overview
Job Summary
Prepares and maintains accurate accounting records using established policies and procedures in order to properly reflect operating results and financial position. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
Creates and performs analysis on financial and operational data.
Demonstrates an ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity within the data warehouses of all available financial information systems.
Demonstratesputer proficiency with all System financial information systems including core transaction systems, decision support system, data warehouse and PC Financial Application tools toplete internal and external work products.
Completes assigned goals.
Specifications
Experience
Minimum Required Recent hospital experience in decision support, budget or accounting. Strongputer skill set with Oracle, Microsoft Office programs, particularly with Excel and Access, and experience using reports from health care financial management or clinical systems and database management systems.
Excellentmunication (both written and verbal) andanizational skills.
Preferred/Desired
- 3 years experience in healthcare.
Education and Licensure
Minimum Required - Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Preferred/Desired - Master’s Degree, CPA
